Kungsfors Protector Sleeve
This protective sleeve was designed to fit over the IKEA Kungsfors magnetic knife holder. The sleeve prevents knife edges from making direct contact with the metal surface, reducing the risk of chipping when placing or removing knives. The design slides over the holder and stays in place during normal use.
Magnetic knife holders are convenient, but the hard metal surface can chip knife edges over time. This is especially problematic with harder Japanese knives. The sleeve provides a softer landing surface while still allowing the magnet to hold knives securely.
In order to fit common printers the design was split. You will need to print two copies.
